Everton players mock Iwobi in training over poor heading skills

Nigeria international, Alex Iwobi became the butt of the joke among his Everton teammates for his poor heading skills in training.

Overall, Iwobi has scored thrice from the head, two with present club and once during his time with Arsenal.

“I don’t know what’s been happening, they [teammates] laugh at me when I try to head the ball in training,” Iwobi told Liverpoolecho.co.uk.

“But the practice has been paying off. I was just trying to keep it on target [against Wolves]. I didn’t
know I could jump that high.”

Iwobi will be on duty with the Super Eagles in an international friendly against Ukraine at the Dnipro Arena on Tuesday.
