Ex-Eagles coach, Salisu Yusuf to return to his duty post after suspension

There are strong indications that former Super Eagles assistant coach, Salisu Yusuf will soon return to the same position he vacated more than a year ago after he was implicated in an alleged bribery scandal.

Yusuf who was then the head coach of the Home-based Eagles was caught on camera receiving a cash gift from Investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyew Anas.
In a video filmed in September 2017, the coach is shown meeting with Anas’ Tiger Eye agency and accepting 1000 dollars cash ostensibly to ensure that two players are selected for the African Nations Championship tournament which was held in Morocco.
SportingLife.ng gathered from those that should know that the former Kano Pillars and Enyimba coach is due to return to his duty post having served his one-year suspension from football-related activities by the Nigeria Football Federation.

It was reported that the coach has started making consultations with his assistants to ensure that quality players are fished out in preparations for the WAFU Tournament in Senegal and the CHAN competition slated for Cameroon early next year.
