Ex-Man Utd star Fabio: Gerrard hated Rafael and I!

Former Manchester United, fullback Fabio Da Silva, Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard did not get along with him nor his twin brother Rafael.

The Brazilian duo spent many seasons as right and left-back options for United, winning the Premier League title and other honors along the way.

Fabio, who is now 31, gave an interview to The Athletic where he spoke about Gerrard’s supposed hatred of the Da Silva twins.

“Wayne Rooney told us that Steven Gerrard hated us,” said Fabio, who now plays for Istanbul Basaksehir.

“He said that Gerrard told him on international duty, ‘Those twins, they are pri*ks!’.

“We never did anything to him but wear a different shade of red. I guess that’s all it takes. And to be honest, I understood what he meant. The feeling was mutual.”
