Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappé met in a Nations League clash between Portugal and France and their chat in the middle of the pitch has made people talk.
The PSG star called Ronaldo “Idol” on an Instagram post that he published shortly after the game last night and that showed two pictures of them two talking during the match.
Many football fans around the globe have been asking themselves what Ronaldo told Mbappé and Il Corriere della Sera and Sky Sport tried to answer the question.
Ronaldo was Mbappé’s childhood idol so much so, the Frenchman had plenty of CR7’s posters in his room when I was a kid.
Before last night, they had only met in a Champions League knock-out stage in 2018 when Ronaldo’s Real Madrid eliminated Mbappé’s PSG.
According to Sky Sport, Ronaldo could have given some advice to the PSG star who couldn’t stop laughing when CR7 went close to him during the game.

As per Il Corriere della Sera, the duo may have spoken about their future with Ronaldo who had been linked with a move to PSG while Juventus fans hope CR7 could once again convince a top star to join the Old Lady like he did with Matthijs de Ligt back in summer 2019.
