Excitement as Private School Games dazzles in Lagos

 

There was great excitement among students, coaches, teachers and stakeholders as the 3rd edition of Private School Games U-16 came to an end inside the Indoor Sports hall of the National Institute for Sports, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos at the weekend.

Virtually every one that featured applauded the excellent organization of football , swimming , Athletics , Basketball and video games events.

Head Football coach of Greensprings , Charles Warri said his boys and girls’ football teams got the right platform to grab gold and silver in explosive finals with Lead Forte Gate College,

Head swimming and Basketball coach of Meadow hall school,Animashaun Abdul said he lacked words to express his gratitude , revealing that his team scheduled to be in London later this month for the world school games swimming event have been properly warmed up with the week long Private School games.

Chief Organiser/Chairman School Sport ,Adeyemi Egbeoluwa said their focus is to develop youths through Sports.

“My thanks goes to the schools, parents, sports coaches and teachers from Greensprings , Corona Secondary School, Meadow hall  ,Lead Forte Gate College , Riverbank, Seedtime , Best Legacy College and Rainbow College for helping students to combine education with sports as it goes hand in hand.

“It’s been a memorable experience to relate and compete in very friendly environment. It was first of its kind environment for some schools and students.

We are looking forward to a bigger and better sportsfest next year particularly with the corporate world partnering with School Games Limited in developing youths ,”, said Egbeoluwa as Corona Secondary School wears the crown as the 2022 Private School Games U-16 Champions , Meadow hall came second and Best Legacy School came third.
