Super Falcons Technical Adviser Thomas Dennerby has applauded the move by Falcons foward Asisat Oshoala to Barcelona Ladies saying that Spain is the best place for her now that the FIFA Women’s World Cup is just few months from now.
Dennerby in a chat with Sportinglife.ng, said her contributions during last year’s Africa Women’s Cup of Nation was below average hence she needs competitive football to bring the best in her for the world cup billed for June this year.
He said the Dilian Quanjian forward who is on loan to Barca took the right step by moving out of China for a better club in Spain.
“Every player wants to be part of the world cup party in France and for any player to be listed , she must be involve in competitive league because your form has a big role to play in inviting players for the world cup. My mission is to the reach semi- final of the world cup and any player taking to the game must be in her best form”. Dennerby said.

Super Falcons (Nigeria) will play alongside the host France, Norway and South Korea in group A of the FIFA Women’s World Cup beginning from June 7.
