Nigeria’s women national team are already in China ahead of the Four Nation Invitational Tournament which kicks off on Thursday, January 17 with a game against the Steel Roses of China in Meihzou. Romania will tackle South Korea in the other game.
The Super Falcons who are the only Africa team in the competition arrived the Asian country at about 4pm local time on Tuesday and are lodged at the WuHua International Hotel.
20 players, majority of whom were part of the victorious squad that successfully defended the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) in Ghana last month, will train on Wednesday under the watchful eyes of head coach Thomas Dennerby and his assistants.

The girls were in Abuja training before flying out for the competition which also forms part of preparations for this year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.
