National team enthusiasts on Sunday advised Super Eagles  Coach, Gernot Rohr on the need to look in the direction of young players like the 20-year-old forward; Victor Osimhen in his search for prolific strikers for the senior national team.

The fans made the call after Osimhen scored a brace on his debut for new club Lille in their 2-1 win over Nantes.

They described the young Nigerian international to the late Super Eagles striker Rashidi Yekini who made goals scoring easy.

They opined that Rohr should keep tab on the youngster stating that his current form will outweigh Odion ighalo’s best as national team top striker.

Recall that some sport analyst have described Rohr as an ageist who is not giving to use young players at top competitive matches.

Osimhen was part of the for Nigeria team that won bronze at the last Nations Cup in Egypt and featured only once.
