Fast track Recovery: Embattled Man U dispatch Paul Pogba to Dubai

Paul Pogba has been dispatched to the United Arab Emirates to complete a warm weather recovery programme to heal his injured foot.

Pogba missed Sunday’s Premier League clash against Newcastle – and has sat out four out of Manchester United’s last six games due to the problem.

In an attempt to accelerate his return to fitness, United have given the green light to the France international to train in Dubai, where the highest day time temperature is currently 37 degrees.

United are in a hurry to get back to winning ways.  The The Red Devils are passing through what some have described as their most difficult time with goalkeeper David De Gea admitting that something indeed needs to be done to arrest the drift.

‘I think a lot of things need to improve,’ the goalkeeper added. ‘I don’t know what to say, really. This is probably the worst time, most difficult time, since I’ve been here.

‘I don’t know what is happening. Come on, we cannot score even one goal in two games,” he said

With just two points above the Premier League’s relegation zone, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has presided over their worst start to a season for 30 years.

As part of the solution greater emphasis has been placed on nutrition, with players following personal plans at home, and the amount of daily supplements they take has increased. Man U will have a date with Liverpool October 20.
