FCT FA Chairmanship aspirant vows to bring Eagles back to Abuja

Proprietor of FC Hearts of Abuja Alhaji Abba Muhammed Mouktar has promised to bring back the Super Eagles to play their matches at the Abuja National Stadium if he is  elected as the new Chairman of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Football Association  come February 11, 2019.

The FIFA Licensed Agent who at a time managed former junior International Chrisantus Macaulay told SportingLife.ng he has the contacts, connections and wherewithal to bring back the lost glory of FCT sports andwould kick start this among the numerous programs he has lined up to bring football activities fully back to the FCT.

“Paramount in my programs for the FCT includes restoring the past glory of the FCT Football. We want the Super Eagles to come back to Abuja. The question is why can’t we find the right people to help manage the Abuja National Stadium through concession.

“With all humility and by the special grace of God I think I have what it takes to make this happen through my international connections. If the Super Eagles are back in Abuja it would help a lot in promotion of sports development here at the FCT”, Abba as he is fondly called disclosed to SportingLife in Abuja yesterday.

The FC Heart boss who has been residing in Abuja and also got involved in football promotion and administration for over 20 years is confident of being elected as the new FCT FA boss based on his programs that he has presented to the 15 eligible voters comprising of the Nigeria National League, Nigeria Nationwide League, Coaches association, women football association, academy association, state league teams,
players’ union, AMAC, Kuje, Kwali, Bwari, Abaji, Gwagwalada area councils.
