Federation Cup: Nasarawa played well against Kogi Utd–Dogo

Nasarawa United coach, Kabiru Dogo still believes that his players played very well despite getting a
draw against lowly rated Kogi United on Monday at the Enyimba Stadium, Aba in the 2018 Federation Cup
group stage tie.

The Solid Miners were off-colour against Kogi United which many expected them to beat without much
stress and they were fortunate not to concede a goal after the lower league side fluffed a golden
chance from the penalty kick.

Speaking with SportingLife.ng after the game, Dogo disclosed that besides losing opportunities they
created he was satisfied with his players overall game and hopes for improvement in their next game
against Wikki Tourists.

He said they would go back home and correct the lapses noticed against Kogi United before their next
game on Wednesday.

“By my own judgement my boys played very well. The only thing they did wrong was their inability to
convert the chances they created,” Dogo told SportingLife.ng.

“We shall go back to the camp to examine what we did wrong and what we must improve on before the next
game against Wikki Tourists. We are going for a win and we will do everythung to get it,” Dogo said.
