Ferdinand “very upset” with Man Utd keeper Henderson

Rio Ferdinand has said he would be “very upset” as a defender with Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson after Arsenal’s last-gasp winner at the shot-stopper’s loan club Sheffield United.

Henderson – who has impressed for the Blades – was beaten at his near post by Dani Ceballos as the Gunners booked their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

It came after David McGoldrick thought he had forced extra-time by cancelling out Nicolas Pepe’s opener from the penalty spot at Bramall Lane.

There has been some talk Henderson could usurp David de Gea as United’s No.1 next season following a string of errors by the Spaniard over the last couple of years.

But Ferdinand was seemingly unimpressed by the England Under-21 international conceding the late goal.

He told BT Sport: “I spoke about this a while ago, as a defender I would be very upset with the keeper there.
