FIFA President to grace NFF Awards on April 1

The Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed that the President of FIFA, Gianni Infantino and African Football Federation Presidents from 25 countries will grace the second edition of the NFF Awards to be staged in Lagos on April 1.

The ceremony is meant to reward Nigerian footballers and administrators who were outstanding in the previous year and the award ceremony which made its debut last year will also recognise the Super Eagles team of the 1994 class with special posthumous awards to the departed among them.

The President of the NFF, Amaju Pinnick told journalists in Asaba that the football house has put all logistics in place to have a better award ceremony this term than that of last year.

“We are going to be given special recognition to the Super Eagles class of 1994. We are going to honour those among them that are late too,” Pinnick told journalists.
