There is palpable fear in the camp of the Under 20 national team in Abuja as the coaches are comparing notes to whittle down the number of players that will be air-bourne and be joined by not less than 10 foreign based players who have been invited to prove their worth during the residential camping in Germany.

A source close to the team told SportingLife.ng that the team will leave for Germany on Saturday and that team head coach Paul Aigbogun is doing his best along with his other assistant coaches to ensure that the best are picked for the country ahead of the World Cup.

The Flying Eagles barely managed to pick the World Cup ticket at the AFCON in Niamey, Niger Republic where they placed fourth because of their inability to score goals and Nigerians have called on the technical crew to beef up the squad with quality players to ensure that Nigeria scale through the hurdles of the first round.
