France international and PSG talisman Kylian Mbappe has been told to stay put in France and resist the temptation to pitch tenth with La Liga giants Real Madrid.
The country’s Minister of Sports Roxana Maracineanu made the call thus joining the ever increasing debate over mbappe future on one hand and his increasing suitors on the other hand.
Virtually all big clubs have indicated interes directly or indirectly to having Mbappe on their fold especially after he made mincemeat of Barcelona in the uefa Champions league first leg few days back.
The PSG striker is a target for Real Madrid this summer.
“I tell him, Kylian, stay in France, we need you,” Roxana Maracineanu stated on Tele Loisirs.
“We want to continue seeing you play like this.
“The public needs you, PSG need you, young athletes and young footballers need to have role models and examples to look to.”
The Minister it is gathered fears Mbappe’s departure to other leagues could reduce the regularity at which up and coming athletes will see him as many of them aspire to flourish in sports just like he is currently doing.
