France 2019: Falcons to wear all white against Norway

Nigeria’s Super Falcons will be in all white against Norway in tonight’s group opener of the FIFA Women’s World Cup at the Stade Auguste-Delaune in Reims, France.

The Africa champions who are making their ninth appearance will be in white shirts and white shorts against their European opponents.

The Falcons who had their last training session on Friday are one of only seven teams to have made it to every edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup finals since the inaugural competition in 1991.

Sadly they have gone beyond the group stage just once which was in 1999 in the United States of America.

However, the Thomas Dennerby-led girls have promised to secure the three points against a Norwegian side that will be without Balloon DÓr winner Ada Hegerberg who quit the national team as a result of gender inequality issues in her native country.

Meanwhile, bookmakers on google have tipped the Europeans to beat their Africa opponents giving them a 75% chance against the Falcons who had 9%. kick off time is 8pm Nigeria time.
