Galatasaray hand Aribo exit way out of Southampton misery

Super Eagles Midfielder Joe Aribo is a transfer target for Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray.

Aribo is currently surplus to requirements at Southampton and Galatasaray are ready to hand a golden opportunity to his career back on track.

The midfielder endured a torrid debut season in the Premier League as he wasn’t given enough playing time to show what he can do.

After signing for Southampton from Glasgow Rangers last summer and the former former Charlton Athletics star enjoyed a good start under former Ralph Hassenhultti.

He later lost his place in the squad following Hassenhultti’s dismissal and successors Nathan Jones and Ruben Seles completely took him out of the team.

His future at the club is now uncertain following Southampton’s relegation and some reports suggested the Saints are ready to cash in on him.

According Dijital Aslanlar, Galatasaray are interested in signing him Aribo when the summer transfer window opens.

“One of the names on Galatasaray’s transfer list is 26-year-old Joe Aribo,” the tweet read.

Galatasaray could be an adventure for Aribo who is not ready to play in the Championship next season.
