Genk desperately looking for Onuachu’s replacement

Belgian side, Genk are on the verge of hiring Brazilian striker, Wesley Moraes Ferreira da Silva, as a possible replacement for Nigeria star, Paul Onuachu, who may leave the club this summer for a more lucrative offer in another club.

Genk officials have been eyeing the Aston Villa striker with a mission to sign him this summer.

With the Brazilian now fully fit after recovering from knee surgery, Genk are keen to bring the former Club Brugge star back to Belgium.

Wesley, according to Voetbal24, is being made available by Villa for €15m.

But while Genk are ready to sign Wesley, they’re reluctant to go higher than €10m.

However, if Genk lose Nigerian centre-forward Onuachu this summer they will use the money to meet the fee Villa are seeking.
