Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli said the Partenopei are ‘very happy’ with coach Gennaro Gattuso. ‘An agreement for the renewal can be found’.
The former Milan coach replaced Carlo Ancelotti in December 2019 and helped Napoli finish seventh in Serie A last term.
Napoli worked hard on the transfer market this term and Gattuso’s men have won three out of three games played but lost 3-0 by default to Juventus.
“We are very happy with the work he has done, both on and off the pitch,” Giuntoli told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“He fully embraced our cause. He arrived at a delicate moment, things weren’t going too well, but he helped us find the right path and start again at a great level.
“He is happy here and an agreement for the renewal can be found.”
