Goal-crazy Tammy Abraham grabs hat-trick in Wolves defeat

Nigeria born Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham was on fire as he scored a hat-trick in 5-2 defeat of Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday at the Venue Molineux Stadium.

In what could pass for a day of harvest for players of Nigerian origin, teammate

Fikayo Tomori had opened scoring for the Blues in the 31st minute of the match before Abraham took over the baton scoring in the 34th, 41st and 56th minutes respectively. And again as if wanting to be magnanimous in victory he also accounted for the first consolation goal for Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 69th minute no thanks to own goal.

The homers however managed to score a second goal through Italian Patrick Cutrone just five minutes to the end of the match.

With four goals already in the bag, the Frank Lampard tutored side appeared not to ready to soft pedal  as home boy Mason Mount finally got the  icing onthe cake within the six minutes of added time.

Good outing for Tomori and Abraham

Abraham who few weeks back was the subject of racist attack following penalty miss at the super Cup clash against Liverpool, has since put that aside to score seven goals in three matches.

The 21 year former England junior international is eligible to play for Nigeria and efforts are reportedly in top gear to get the former Aston Villa loanee to join the Super Eagles fold.
