Griezmann equals Zidane’s goals record in France win

Antoine Griezmann was on target for France on Tuesday night in Les Bleus’ 4-2 victory over Croatia in the Nations League.

The Barcelona striker equalised for the hosts just before half-time after Dejan Lovren had put Croatia ahead early on.

Griezmann’s 31st international strike sees him move into fifth place in the all-time goalscorers list for France and level on goals with Zinedine Zidane:

Griezmann also picked up an assist in the second half with a corner for Dayot Upamecano to power home and make it 3-2 to the world champions.

Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud sealed the win from the penalty spot with his 40th international goal, only Michel Platini and Thierry Henry have scored more for France.
