Guardiola not yet the greatest declares Juve forward Eni Aluko
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is by all standards a good coach but cannot be considered all-time great until he wins the Champions League for the citizens
Nigeria born Juventus Ladies Eni Aluko who made the submission noted that it has been a While since the Spaniard laid hands on the prestigious trophy.
Though Man City have been doing well in the premier league according to the former England international, clinching the Champions league which is the highest level of club championships is the only way Guardiola will get a standing ovation.
Eni who is elder sister to Super Eagles ace Sony Aluko opined that Guardiola’s “repeated failures” in Europe are hurting his reputation, and compared his fortunes to Jurgen Klopp’s at Liverpool.
Aluko, 32, added: “Guardiola’s achievements put him in the highest level of European management but though his Barcelona team probably have to be counted among the greatest in the sport’s history in my opinion the title of genius has been given to him too quickly, particularly when there is another manager in the same league at the same time who has perhaps overtaken him in terms of his effect on his club and his achievements with them, “she said

The former Chelsea and Birmingham City ace joined Juventus in June last year and has since made over 20 appearances for the side scoring 13 goals in the process. She also scored 33 goals for England in 102 appearances.
