Gunners family: Ramsdale ,Vieira and partners expect first child
Just weeks after completing a rollercoaster Premier League season, Arsenal team-mates Aaron Ramsdale and Fabio Vieira have both announced they are expecting their first child with their respective partners.
The Ramsdale goalkeeper and his fiancee, Georgina Irwin, shared their news via an emotional and heartwarming video on social media yesterday, just hours after midfielder Vieira and his partner Carina Raquel also revealed their pregnancy to the world .
Ramsdale posted images on Instagram showing a positive test on a baby outfit, with the words “I love you so much daddy” adorably stitched on it.
The clip then showed him beaming upon hearing the news before running across the room to jump across the bed and kiss Georgina. Later, a photo of their baby’s scan was shown, before the couple and the bump posed for the camera.
The 25-year-old, who enjoyed a fine campaign between the sticks for Mikel Arteta’s side, wrote a caption that simply read: ‘Half of me, half of you. Baby Ramsdale.’

Vieira, meanwhile, is also set to become a father for the first time.

Revealing the pregnancy in the same way, he uploaded a photo alongside his future partner on social media to his hundreds of thousands of followers.
“The greatest adventure of our lives,” Vieira wrote. “We look forward to meeting you.”
Ramsdale had also arranged the words “Marry me?” in large letters across the room.
He started dating Georgina, a British Airways flight attendant, in 2019.
