Halloween touch: Sheena shines in Lingerie Fighting Championship

 

Fourteen women stripped down to lace teddies, sparkly pasties, and fishnets in the Halloween to battle it out in the ring during the annual Lingerie Fighting Championship.

The women displayed both their bodies and their mixed martial arts training in the series of wrestling matches, which took place on Sunday, October 31, at the FSW Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The event has faced backlash over the years, but there is a lot more to the sport than looking good in your underwear, according to Shaun Donnelly, the founder and CEO of LFC.

‘The girls have to be able to move in the cage and protect themselves,’ he said back in 2016. ‘LFC isn’t nearly as brutal as a UFC fight, but there are black eyes and split lips.

‘Ultimately some contestants are lingerie models, so they don’t want to destroy their looks by beating each other to bloody pulps.’

During the matches, the barely dressed fighters used Muay Thai, which is a type of martial arts that includes stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques.

Sheena Bathory, who is also known as ‘The Hungarian Hurricane,’ took on Shay Lynn in the first match of the night.

Shay, who wore fishnet tights and a leather bodysuit, is no stranger to performing in next to nothing. She is best known as Miss Nude World Entertainer of the year, Miss Exotic United States, and a former Playboy Playmate.

However, it was Sheena who came out on top at the end of the match, which should come as no surprise. In her bio on the LFC website, Sheena is described as wanting ‘to destroy whatever or whoever gets in her way.’

The second fight saw Lauren Ceccarelli defeat Veronica Payne in a nasty battle.

Lauren grew up practicing ballet, but she developed a taste for aggression and discipline when she joined the Marine Corps.
