Here’s why Ronaldo failed to net first free-kick for Juventus (video)
Cristiano Ronaldo came close to netting his first free-kick goal for Juventus during their Champions League clash against Lokomotiv Moscow on Wednesday night, November 6, at Lokomotiv Stadium.
However, Ronaldo’s hope was dashed at the last minute, after former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey move in to ‘steal’ his goal.

The Portuguese superstar, who is always eager to score was left in wonderland and would still be fuming with the Welshman.
Interestingly, the goal meant Ramsey netted his first Champions League goal for Juve, prodding the ball over the line Ronaldo’s free-kick appeared too hot for Lokomotiv Moscow’s shot-stopper to handle.
However, the ball was heading to cross the line, which would have seen Ronaldo celebrate first goal from a free-kick for Juve.
Ball was still slightly on the line when Ramsey touched it:
