Hertha Berlin end Bayern’s unbeaten run

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich had their unbeaten run into the season broken as they were beaten at
Hertha Berlin.

Hertha, who are now on the same number of points with Bayern, took the lead through Vedad Ibisevic’s
penalty after Jerome Boateng fouled Salomon Kalou inside the box. Ondrej Duda added the second.

Bayern fought back with efforts from former Swansea loanee Renato Sanches and David Alaba missing
target.

Arjen Robben was substituted on 51 minutes which he was angry about which he made known to manager,Niko
Kovac on the touchline.

Robben’s replacement Thomas Muller found chances hard to come by, as did former Arsenal winger Serge
Gnabry, who also came off the bench.
