Hertha Berlin to send Guendouzi back to Arsenal

Hertha Berlin are set to send Matteo Guendouzi back to parent club Arsenal at the end of the season.

BILD says Hertha coach Pai Dardai isn’t convinced about keeping the France U21 captain around, no matter their Bundesliga status next season.

Guendouzi is on a straight loan with Hertha and has impressed at times in a struggling team.

But Dardai is unsure about the midfielder’s place in his plans and has said as much to Hertha directors.

As such, they’re likely to pass on buying the Frenchman outright, despite his positive relationship with the club’s support.
