How Kalu, Collins, Azubuike reacted to AFCON draw

Some of the Super Eagles stars have been reacting to Friday’s AFCON draw in Cairo Egypt which pitched Nigeria in Group B against Guinea, Burundi and Madagascar.
These are the reactions from three of the players which included Samuel Kalu of FC Bordeaux of France, Azubuike Okexhukwu of Rizespor of Turkey and SC Paderbon 07 of Germany left back Jamilu Collins.
“We have confidence that we will achieve our aim in this year’s AFCON that would be held on Egypt. We are not afraid of any team. We are the Super Eagles. The draw is very good for us but will be tough. We will not underrate any team.
We will give our best in every game”, the Bordeaux of France star also disclosed to SportingLife.ng exclusively from his base in France.
Rizespor of Turkey and Super Eagles midfielder Azubuike Okexhukwu believes the Group  is a fair one for the Eagles but warned that they still need hard work to emerge from the group to the next stage of the competition.
“I think it’s a fair one for us. But we still have to work hard because no team is a push over. This is 2019 AFCON where all teams are desperately coming to Egypt to prove a point”, the Captain of the Olympic Eagles told SportingLife.ng from his base in Turkey.
Also Super Eagles and SC Paderborn 07 of Germany left back Jamilu Collins also commented on the Group B draws of the Eagles.
““People will think it would be easy group but believe me it is not an easy group at all. This is African Cup tournament and you don’t qualify to African Cup by mistake such teams’ did a lot of hard work to be there. So when you are in AFCON you put in double hard work to excel. Every country will give this hard to also excel. So it’s going to be tough. It’s not going to be easy group as people thought. But I am confident that our Coach will prepare us very well for the battles in Egypt”, Collins also told SportingLife.ng exclusively from Germany.
