Huddersfield, Tottenham: Injury stops Alli

Hamstring problem has ruled out Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli out of Saturday’s English Premier League fixture against Huddersfield.

The England international is also set to miss next week UEFA Champions league game against Barcelona and the Three Lions upcoming international friendly.

Alli has just returned from injury which forced him to withdraw from the last England get together against Switzerland.

But after a starring role in the Carabao Cup win over Watford in midweek – in which he captained Spurs at MK Dons, he has suffered a recurrence of the problem.

Alli only returned from his initial problem last weekend, appearing as a late substitute in the win
over Brighton . He had missed the defeats to both Liverpool and Inter Milan.
