Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has dismissed reports saying he is on his way to Belgian side KAA Gent.

Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has dismissed reports linking him to Belgian side KAA Gent.

Omeruo who had initially expressed his desire to leave Chelsea after failing to make his Premier League debut in his six years at the Stamford Bridge however remained coy on his next move.

“For now l have not made up mind on where l will be playing next season.  I have been reading reports of me being linked to several clubs. For now l remain a Chelsea player and till l iron out certain issues with them l can’t tell you where l would be heading to,” said the player.

The 24-year-old player who participated in his second World Cup finals after Brazil 2014 moved to Chelsea from Standard Liege in January 2012 and upon signing went on loan to Dutch top-flight side ADO Den Haag.

Now with Turkish side Kasimpasa on loan, Omeruo paired William Troost-Ekong and Leon Balogun in the Eagles defense at the Russia 2018 World Cup.
