Flying Eagles playmaker Success Makanjuola has revealed that hard work and focus earned him the deal with CD Leganes that will be completed in a couple of days.

 Makanjuola who spoke to Sportinglife.ng in a chat from Rabat, Morocco for the All Africa Games,  said the team is determined to crown their efforts with the gold medal having reached the final.

The Flying Eagles Sensation said he shunned teams from Bundesliga, French Ligue 1, Italian Seria A, Belgian League, and English Premier League clubs looking for his services but decided to join the La Liga giants, Leganes where he can develop his game.

Makanjuola stated that the deal to join top la Liga side Leganeswill be completed before the end of the European transfer window.

 The La Liga side won the race to sign the Water FC of Abuja attacker despite concrete interest from clubs in Germany, France, and England.

The player has agreed to personal terms with the club and his parent club Water fC will soon finalize the deal with the Spanish club. According to the player’s Manager Nureni Makanjuola, the opportunity for the player to develop his ability and the interest shown by the club to invest in the player prompted him to pick Leganes ahead of other offers.

“Leganes showed us serious commitment to have Success in their squad and for me, the development of the player is what is very Paramount at the moment and not money’.

The player who is currently with the Flying Eagles squad at the ongoing All Africa Games in Morocco will join the likes of Kenneth Omeruo and Chidoziem Awaziem in Leganes when he completes the move before the close of the transfer window.
