Brighton are away to Watford at the Vicarage, a match that the 30-year-old Balogun is already looking forward to impress after joining on a free transfer from German club Mainz.

“Then, I want to take it from there, but I’ll give everything I can to improve what this group already has and play the biggest role that I can for the team.

“I was really warmly received on my first day at the club and it’s a nice group. My first impression were very positive, and I feel very comfortable within the group — they all made me feel welcome.”
