Iceland Coach: We Won’t Rely On Set Pieces

Iceland coach Heimir Hallgrimsson are not depending on set pieces to defeat Nigeria in Friday’s Group D Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup clash.

“We prepare set-pieces for every opponent we meet. It’s nothing different from Nigeria or Argentina.”

“Your players actually are really good in the air,” Hallgrimsson said in Thursday’s press conference.

“I think Ndidi, and Ighalo, are some of your good players. But this is just normal for us.

Set pieces was the Eagles undoing against Croatia which the European side capitalised on during their game last Saturday.
