Ighalo to Falcons: You must be confident against Korea

Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo has charged the Super Falcons not to allow their slip against Norway demoralise them ahead of their second game of the ongoing FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.

You must be confident against Korea

The Falcons were whitewashed 3-0 by the rampant Norwegian who swoop on them in the first half of the encounter but Ighalo who made the list to the 2019 AFCON with the Super Eagles noted that the women’s national team should not consider themselves as bad because of the loss.

He told them to make necessary corrections and strive to make Nigerians proud when they face South Korea today in Grenoble.

“I want to tell them that losing the first game doesn’t mean they are a bad team,” Ighalo told SportingLife.ng.

“They must correct the mistakes they made in the first game and listen to the instructions of their coach. We have a good team from the way they have performed in previous matches.
