Ignore unfit players Babangida tells Rohr

Former Super Eagles winger and Olympic gold medalist Tijani Babangida, has advised Coach Gernot Rohr to drop any player struggling for form or has seized to get the needed attention in his club.

Rohr will be expected to submit a provisional World Cup squad list on  May 14 and the former Ajax star argues that current form of players should take precedent over ’’pedigree or past glory’’.

The former Changchun Yatai of China player was capped 36 times for Nigeria and made his World Cup debut in France1998.

According to the Kaduna born winger, Coach Rohr should go in search of other foreign players plying their trade abroad and doing well ahead of the World Cup in Russia.

‘’I want the coach to look at other foreign based players who are having a great season ahead of our sixth FIFA World Cup finals in Russia,’’ he stressed.
