Nigeria international, Kelechi Iheanacho has ended his goal drought for premiership side, Leicester City after getting on the score sheet in a pre-season match against Cambridge United which the Foxes won 3-0.
Iheanacho who missed Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations campaign in Egypt after he was dropped struck in the 83rd minute to double Leicester’s lead after Harry Maguire had given them the lead
The Nigeria international had not scored a goal for the Foxes since September 22, 2018, before his introduction on the hour mark in yesterday’s clash at the Abbey Stadium.
He will be hoping to break into Brendan Rodgers’ first-team when the English Premiership League season starts.
