The Nigerian has been under severe presure to dump Leicester City for a lucrative offer else where in a bid to command a regular shirt, but all efforts to move out have been abortive in recent times.

The player has been inspirational to the club successful runs in the Premier League even from the occassional bench appearances.

Iheanacho has reacted to rumors linking him with a January move to EPL side Aston Villa and other notable clubs in Europe, saying there was nothing as such for now even after he was benched in Wednesday’s 2-0 win against Watford.

The 23 year-old however insists he’s happy at the King Power stadium and has no reason to leave.

“No, I am happy here, everyone is happy,” he said. “The  manager is a top manager who is friendly to everyone.

“I don’t see the reason why anyone could want to leave. I  think he gives everyone chances, there are a lot of games  coming up.
