Alex Iwobi,  Victor Moses, Phillip Billing, Jordon Ibe and Tammy Abraham  were all in action  on the final day of matches of the season.

At Turf Moor Nigeria Football Federation target, Jordon Ibe put in a full shift for Bournemouth in their 2-1 win over Burnley. Goals from Callum Wilson and Joshua King secured the victory while Chris Wood scored for the Clarets.

Another NFF target, Dominic Solanke hit a brilliant goal for the Reds to go with strikes from Mohamed Salah, Croatian defender, Dejan Lovren and Andy Robertson with the Nigerian on for the entire duration.

Chelsea suffered a chastening 3-0 defeat at the hands of Newcastle at the Sports Direct Arena, no thanks to a double from Ayoze Perez and a goal from Dwight Gayle.

Nigerian international Victor Moses was in action for the Blues for the entirety of the game.

There were no place for another Nigerian courted player, Stefano Okaka in the Watford team that traveled to Old Trafford while Manchester United’s starlets, Tosin Kehinde and Matthew Olosunde were not handed selections for the final league game of their side.

Marcus Rashford struck the only goal for the Red Devils in the 1-0 turnout.

Tosin Adarabioyo and Lukas Nmecha missed out of Manchester city’s traveling party to the St Mary’s Stadium while Michael Obafemi was also not listed for hosts Southampton.

In a classic goal fesat at Wembley, Tottenham edged Leicester City 5-4 in a nine-goal thriller.

Super Eagles striker, Kelechi Iheanacho scored the third which was his second consecutive goal for the Foxes in the second period before making way five minutes from time.

Young Nigerian winger Layton Ndukwu failed to make it off the bench for Leicester while Wilfred Ndidi was not listed due to injury.
