I’m happy to score my first Stoke City goal—-Etebo

Nigeria international, Oghenekaro Etebo is still basking in joy after scoring his maiden goal for Stoke City in Saturday’s English Championship game against Nothingham Forest which the Potters won 2-0.

Etebo gavd Stoke the lead in the 15th minute with Benik Afobe who was returning to the starting line up finding the back of the net in the 74th minute.

“Great performance 🙌 Feels great to get my 1st goal for potters🔴⚪️ heads up and up to the next ☝️,” Etebo tweeted.

Etebo who linked up with Stoke City from Portuguese club CD Feirense last summer has now made 25 appearances for the club in the Championship.

Stoke City who got relegated from the EPL last tasted victory mid-January, when they defeated Leeds United 2-1.

After Saturday’s victory, Stoke now have 44 points from 35 matches to occupy the 16th position.

This Saturday Stoke are away to Queens Park Rangers.
