I’m ready to reach my potential under Mourinho–Dele Alli vows
Tottenham Hotspur player Dele Alli says it is time to step up his game if he is serious about reaching his full potential under Jose Mourinho.
The England international was singled out for praise last Saturday by Mourinho after Spurs away victory against West Ham.
“I asked Harry for the No.10 shirt, he wouldn’t give it to me though,” Dele joked to BT Sport when asked about his favoured role.
“I enjoy scoring, I enjoy assisting: I want to help the team as much as I can. I like to press high. But also, if the game needs it “I like to be deep as well and get on the ball there and create stuff. I’m happy to play. We’ve got so many great players. They’re all a joy to play with.
