Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi has provided an update on his injury which would certainly gladden the heart of national team coach, Gernot Rohr ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles in March.
The Trabzonspor of Turkey midfielder who got injured last month has revealed that he hopes to return to action sooner than expected.
“Everything is going well. The rehabilitation is going on well and I think i’m recovering ahead of schedule.
“I don’t want to rush things but hopefully very soon I should be back doing what I know how to do best,” Onazi told AOIFootball.com from his base in Turkey.

He added that he will soon start walking without the aid of crutches.
