Injured Van Dijk eager to face Chelsea
Netherlands defender Van Dijk has revealed that he is “looking forward” to visiting Stamford Bridge this weekend, despite being doubtful for the crucial encounter on Saturday.
“Focussed and looking forward to another big game tomorrow against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge,” the
27-year-old wrote on Friday,” he posted on Instagram on Friday.
The Netherlands international was substituted during the 3-0 Premier League win over former club
Southampton last weekend with a fitness concern and missed the Carabao Cup defeat to Chelsea in mid-
week.

Van Dijk has not trained this week and manager Jurgen Klopp faces an anxious wait over the
defender’s availability.
