Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has assured Nigerians that he would return stronger following an injury sustained in Sunday’s international friendly against Brazil which ended 1-1.
He gave the assurance on his Twitter handle following concerns when it became obvious he could no longer continue with the match.
“A big thank you to you all 🙏🏽. I will be be back stronger and betterIN CHRIST ALONE, “Uzoho tweeted.
The 20-year-old was in severe pain after falling on his back while contesting for the ball inside the penalty box in the 65th minute of play.
He had to be stretched off the pitch after an impressive performance and was replaced by Maduka Okoye.

Uzoho has made five appearances and kept three clean sheets this season for Omonia Nikosia who occupy the second position in the Cypriot First Division.
