Injury woes follow Iwobi’s Everton against Hammers

Everton manager, Marco Silva, is worried over the fitness of some his players as they file out against West Ham United on Saturday in the English Premier League.

Everton will definitely be without striker Cenk Tosun after he picked up a minor groin injury on duty with Turkey, while Jean- Philippe Gbamin is a long-term absentee after undergoing surgery on a troublesome quadriceps muscle this week.

Although, Nigeria star, Alex Iwobi, is  in top shape but Club captain, Seamus Coleman is serving a one-match suspension following his sending off against Burnley.

“About Fabian, we’re still in doubt,” said Silva at his pre-match press conference on Friday.

“We have 24 hours until the game so let’s see how he’ll react.

“He did, not a full session with the team, but he’s getting better. It’s one decision we’ll make tomorrow.

“JP will be out long term and Cenk Tosun… he came back from the national team with a small issue in his muscle, in his groin.

“It’s nothing [serious], not too long, but he will be out of  tomorrow’s match.”
