Inter goalkeeping coach hospitalised after an accident

Inter  Milan goalkeeping coach, Adriano Bonaiuti, is in serious condition at the hospital after he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle.

According to Il Resto del Carlino newspaper, the 53-year-old is in ‘serious condition’ in a hospital in Ancona.

The accident happened on Sunday morning in Grottammare, near Ascoli Piceno, just hours after he’d returned from the Europa League Final in Germany.

An SUV was backing out of a driveway as he was going past.

Bonaiuti has been on the Inter staff as a goalkeeping coach since 2013, while before that he worked at Roma and Udinese.

As a player, he wore the jerseys of Cesena, Sambenedettese, Hellas Verona, Juventus, Padova, Palermo, Cosenza, Trapani, Pescara and Udinese.
