Inter Milan chief executive, Beppe Marotta, has confirmed his club’s interest in signing Nigeria player, Victor Moses on loan from Chelsea as they gear up in their push to regain the Serie A title.

Nigeria international and Fenerbahçe ace Victor Moses

Moses, who is currently on loan at Turkish side Fenerbahce, played under Inter coach Antonio Conte in our Premier League-winning squad in 2016/17 and was linked with a move to Serie A last summer.

When quizzed about Inter’s interest in the Nigerian winger, Marotta was reported to have said: ‘Moses? He is definitely a candidate.’

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio adds that Inter have ‘approval’ from Chelsea for the deal but they will need to make space for the 29-year-old in their squad before the move can be completed.

‘Regarding Victor Moses, after receiving Chelsea’s approval, Inter are now waiting to move Valentino Lazaro before re-uniting Conte with his former wing-back,’ he wrote.
