Inter’s real left-sided target is reportedly David Alaba as SportMediaset claims they have already met the Bayern Munich man twice.
Inter have already done a deal to sign Achraf Hakimi for the role of right wingback and it was thought they wanted Emerson Palmieri to bolster the other flank.
However, SportMediaset has dropped a bombshell this afternoon, stating that the Nerazzurri’s first choice is Alaba.
Club chiefs Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio are said to have met the Austrian, his father and his representative Pini Zahavi in Milan twice before the coronavirus lockdown.
The 28-year-old is valued at €50m and earns an €11m salary before tax, but his contract expires next summer and no renewal seems forthcoming.

Although he has been a regular in 2019-20, winning his ninth Bundesliga title, his long-term place at Bayern is threatened by the emergence of Alphonso Davies.
Mediaset adds Real Madrid, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are all also pursuing Alaba.
