Inter see Aguero as good replacement for Chelsea target Lukaku

Lionel Messi’s Barcelona exit could end up helping Inter because it’s reported Sergio ‘Kun’ Aguero is asking to leave the Blaugrana immediately and can replace Romelu Lukaku.

Messi leaving Camp Nou was always going to send shockwaves through the transfer market and change the plans of several other clubs and it’s proving to be the case.

Multiple sources in Spain, France, and Argentina all claim Messi is close to signing a two-year contract with PSG, and option for a third, at €40m per season.

Inter are also in advanced talks with Chelsea for Lukaku, who could be allowed to leave for circa €120m plus bonuses, reaching the €130m asking price.

The Nerazzurri suddenly have a new target to replace the Belgium international, as several sources in Catalunya this evening – including Laporteria and BTV Esports – claim that Aguero is demanding an immediate exit from Barcelona.

The 33-year-old Argentina international had pushed through a transfer from Manchester City as a free agent just because he wanted to play alongside his good friend Messi.

Now that Messi has left, Aguero is believed to be furious and asking his lawyers to check the contract, seeing if they can terminate it by mutual consent before he ever plays for them.

Inter would inevitably be an interested party if Kun were to become a free agent again, needing a centre-forward to come in for Lukaku.
