Iwobi hot for Libya–Rohr

Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr has expressed his happiness with the performance of one of his top stars Alex Iwobi for his club Arsenal in both the Europa League’s 3-1 victory away to Qarabag last Thursday and also in the club’s 5-1 thumping of host Fulham in the Premiere League on Sunday.

The Franco- German football tactician who arrived Lagos on Monday to hit Uyo, Akwa Ibom State later in the day to begin camping for the Super Eagles’ crucial double header qualifying matches of the 2019 Africa Cup
of Nations against visiting Libya holding this Saturday is a happy man because of the good performances of his players in Europe with their clubs.

“I am excited and very happy with Alex (Iwobi) for his performances so far for Arsenal in both the Europa League and also against Fulham on Sunday.

“Alex played well again today (yesterday) and against Qarabag. He was very mobile in the two matches which will help us in our games too”, Rohr disclosed to SportingLife,ng.

The Eagles handler however heaved a sigh of relief as regards injuries to some of his players saying as at today he has not received any news to that effect.

“No injury to any of my players for the moment. Some games were played this (yesterday) evening”, he disclosed.
