Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi could be handed the No.10 role in the absence of Mikel Obi when the Super Eagles tackle Libya in Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
With the absence of Obi who has not featured for Nigeria after the FIFA World Cup, head coach Gernot Rohr is considering drafting Iwobi to the midfield.
Rohr has excused Mikel from the Libya game as he is yet to regain full fitness after featuring for
Nigeria at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Rohr has further expressed his delight with the fitness level of his players for all the positions and has promised to field the best aagainst the North Africans.
